New Year's Day is comin' this way!
Come kick off 2024 with a New Year's Day celebration at The Forks. Enjoy a special day with friends and family filled with brunch, cultural celebrations, performances, yoga, board games, crafts, and winter activities.
The day's family-friendly programming will run from 10 AM – 4 PM on Monday, January 1, offering both indoor and outdoor activities. For more information about all of the events happening at The Forks, check out the New Year's Day link in our bio.

Learn to Winter
Discover the joy of winter with our exciting Learn to Winter programming, starting Saturday, January 6, 2024, and running every weekend until the end of February, 2024.
Join us in celebrating our proud winter city, with these free activities:
- Skate, Ski, Snowshoe Lessons with Winnipeg Trails Asssociation| Saturdays and Sundays, 12 PM – 4 PM
- Skiing – 12 PM and 2 PM
- Skating – 1 PM and 3 PM
- Snowshoeing – 2 PM
These lessons are offered on a drop-in basis. Guests are invited to bring their own equipment. Skate rentals are available at Icelands Skate Rentals, in The Forks Market. Ski and snowshoe rentals can be arranged with the Winnipeg Trails Association.

Join Passerby's Head Bartender, Josey Krahn, for an evening of informative cocktail making!
For this event, discover the art of crafting cocktails using the Mr. Potato Head method. Just like his interchangeable pieces, learn how to play with different elements while keeping the essence intact – much like your favorite cocktails.
Learn to mix drinks creatively and uncover the secrets behind consistent ratios and perfect spirit-flavor pairings!

Winnipeg 150 is officially on!
At the Information Kiosk, located on the main floor of The Forks Market, Winnipeg 150 will be giving away free snowshoe rentals on a first come first serve basis. Mayor Scott Gillingham will also be here, to assist in offering more information on Winnipeg 150 events and initiatives happening throughout 2024.

Soul Supreme | Winterruption
Synonym Sound proudly presents Winterruption at The Forks!
Come in from the cold and warm up with us for a memorable night of soul and R&B music in the newly renovated event space for the second night of Winterruption at The Forks.
Curated by the team at Synonym Sound and the incomparable Keisha Booker of Soul Supreme, this night will feature a twelve-piece band, DJ sets, and a cash bar. Step into an immersive soundscape and a wash of purple lights to reunite with old friends and make some new ones, under the disco ball!
