Fall Programming | Thursday Pre-“Game”
Looking for a fun night out this fall? Head to the Second-Floor Lounge for a rotating series of game nights! From classic board games and puzzles to themed evenings like Uno, Catan, and Dutch Blitz, there’s something for everyone. Each evening features a game master on hand, free-to-play board games, and the chance to learn new rules or show off your favourites.

Join us on the Second Floor Atrium for Community and Crafting! This session is a great chance to connect with fellow makers. Just bring your project (needlepoint, clay, weaving, felting, whatever you heart desires!), grab a beer flight ($10 at The Common), and enjoy a relaxed night of creating together.

Fall Programming: Fit to the Beat
Join Sport Manitoba’s fitness instructor, Mallory James, and get fit this fall! Get ready to move to the beat in this music-driven group fitness class! “Fit to the Beat” puts a fun twist on exercises you know and love by working to the tempo of the music. Tune in on a choreographed full-body workout while listening to your favorite songs! All fitness levels welcome.

Full Moon Ceremony
The Full Moon Ceremony is a collaboration between Sunshine House, Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak Inc MMIWG Liaison Unit (MKO), The Link, Manitoba Moon Voices (MMVI), Women’s Health Clinic (WHC), Inaadiziwin, Native Clan Organization, Inc. (NCO), Manitoba League of Persons with Disabilities and Medicine Bear, Ka Ni Kanichihk. This Ceremony is open to the community at large; all genders and cultures are invited to join together for teachings about feminine energy’s relationship with Grandmother Moon. Anyone who identifies with feminine energy is invited to participate in the Ceremony. Those who identify with masculine energy are invited to attend, but will observe. If you can, we ask relatives to bring your own chair, rattles and/or drums, as well as a water container to fill and take home after the Ceremony (if you wish).

Mondays at the Children’s Museum are very special days. From September to April, join us on Mondays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for a fun-filled day of stimulating play designed for our youngest visitors: children under 4 years old.
We provide tailored crafts to help develop fine motor skills, activities that aid in dramatic play, and/or a special story time at 11:00AM and 1:00PM.

Eaton's Fairytale Vignettes
The Children’s Museum is pleased to be the home of the last original Eaton’s Fairytale Vignettes Display from the ninth-floor annex of the Eaton’s downtown store – fully restored and open to the public for a limited time only.
From mid-November until mid-January, visitors of all ages will be delighted by the fifteen fun, fairytale vignettes that make up this classic favourite, including Cinderella, Humpty Dumpty, Three Blind Mice, and more. Free with general museum admission. Guided Exhibition Tours are available on Saturdays and Sundays from November 15, 2025, to January 4, 2026, at 2:00 p.m

Discover the Art of Soapstone Carving! Join us for a one-of-a-kind creative experience with talented carver Fredrick Spence. This hands-on workshop will guide you through the fascinating world of soapstone carving, offering both inspiration and practical skills. Fredrick will begin by sharing his personal journey into this traditional art form, giving insight into the meaning and process behind his work. With his step-by-step guidance, you’ll learn essential carving techniques and create your very own unique sculpture. No experience is necessary—this workshop is designed for all skill levels, from complete beginners to seasoned creators. Find us in the North Atrium (The location where the Pancake House used to be situated). By the end of the afternoon, you’ll leave with not only a finished soapstone piece but also the pride and joy of having crafted something with your own hands. Grand Opening Sale: The Raw Carrot HCM
The Raw Carrot HCM Grand Opening Sale: The Raw Carrot HCM is hosting a Grand Opening sale to introduce its small-batch, handcrafted gourmet foods to Winnipeg.
