Target Zero
WE’VE GOT AN IMPRESSIVE GOAL: zero carbon emissions and zero waste.
We get nearly 4 million visitors a year. That’s a lot of garbage, a lot of exhaust from cars and a lot of expensive power to heat and cool our buildings. With Target Zero, we’re taking every step we can to implement innovative and responsible environmental practices that are good for the planet and the bottom line.
Every dollar that we avoid spending on boring things like hydro bills and garbage removal, get pumped right back into the fun things like the Nestaweya River Trail and free programming.
