Forks Fitness: No membership required

In many ways The Forks is the city’s biggest outdoor gym. In all four seasons, seven days a week people come together to move at The Forks. No gym membership required.

All summer, The Canopy was a flurry of excitement with salsa and swing dancing. We had people taking time in the middle of their day to break a sweat at the lunchtime fitness classes in Upper Fort Garry Park, and we had kids (and some brave grown ups!) spend their summer break honing their skateboarding skills with lessons five days a week at The Plaza skatepark. 

The Forks truly has a way for everybody to play. We love being the meeting place for people to connect over movement. Whether you like a hot and sweaty fitness workout, a more meditative chill workout, or to simply play a sport, The Forks is proud to support recreational programming for all ages and abilities to come and live an active lifestyle.

We love our active communities, and we thought we’d round up and remind you of all the great ways you can spend time moving with us here at The Forks this fall (and perhaps stay and hang out for a cozy Fools and Horses latte and Tall Grass Prairie cinnamon bun!).
