Activities include:
- Sustainability Hub | Saturday + Sunday, 11am - 4pm
Wander The Forks Market Patio, and immerse yourself in the efforts of local organizations as they showcase their initiatives for sustainability and eco-conscious action. Explore booths where these groups will share ideas, tips, and opportunities for the public to participate and contribute to green causes in our community.
Participating organizations include:
- Clothing Swap, Mend, and Patch | Saturday, 12-4pm
Fashion Revolution Winnipeg will be up in the EQ3 Lounge, hosting a sustainable fashion event, which will include a community clothing swap, a mending circle to help repair cherished wardrobe pieces, and patch buffet!

Hosted by Mother Earth Recycling, a station will be set up near the Sustainability Hub, where folks are welcome to bring their e-waste, where it will be disposed of properly!

Join Green Kids Inc. (1:30pm) and our Sustainability Coordinator (2:30pm) as they host an innovative and interactive walking tour aimed at teaching folks how to minimize their carbon footprint by showcasing our Target Zero efforts here at The Forks!

Bring a bucket or a pail and take home a free sample of nutrient-rich compost to add to your garden!

Bring your reusable containers to fill with soaps and detergents because with every purchase made, Planet Pantry will plant a tree! Lots of other programming happening there. Check out their website to learn more!
Things you'll want to bring to keep your weekend GREEN:
- Reusable to-go containers to take ordered food away (better than a take out container!)
- Clothes and garments you're looking to swap, mend, or patch
- Pails for collecting compost
