If you look forward to admiring the warming huts along the Nestaweya River Trail each year and debating with friends and family about what makes a warming hut excellent - we're looking for YOU!
For the first time, The Forks is inviting members of the public to join the official Warming Huts jury. The best part? NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY beyond a passion for warming huts, Winnipeg, and winter!
To enter, all you need to do is send us a short (less than 60 second) video about who you are and what you love about the Warming Huts competition. All applicants must be 18 and over and a resident of Winnipeg.
The selected participant will be given the opportunity to spend the day as part of the Warming Huts jury, take part in the anonymous critiquing process - where members don’t know who the teams are or where they’re from until after they’ve been selected - and spend a full day debating the merits of each submission and selecting three winners.
