Manitoba Underground Opera will find the diva in you with hands-on activities interspersed with performances by top Winnipeg vocalists. Two of Winnipeg’s hottest drag performers will take to the stage to perform alongside the opera performers.
You’ll be delighted by familiar opera favourites and inspiring musical theatre including pieces from Carmen, Rigoletto, Cosi fan Tutte, and musical theatre standards like Giants in the Sky and Don’t Rain on My Parade.

Bring your acoustic instruments down to The Forks. Play along with our house band - top songs from Manitoba’s song book. Lyrics and charts (and shakers!) will be provided! Guest musicians Fontine and Sierra Noble will also take the mic, leading their favourite local tunes. It’s a concert of top Winnipeg musicians- and you are in it! All are welcome.
And while you're there, enjoy Painting en Plein Air with James Culleton! he multimedia artist will join the show with live music drawings - and an opportunity for you to get creative as well.

- Walking Wolf Dancers and Singers led by Ray Coco Stevenson perform traditional Aboriginal dances, sharing with audiences the stories and meanings behind them. The group’s performances include hoop dancers, jingle dancers, friendship dancers, drummers and chanters to captivate the audience.
