We’re in the middle of a major renovation of the main women’s washroom, located in York Boat Lane on the first floor of The Forks Market Building.
This project will be completed in two phases.
The first phase – November to December, 2025 – will close the washroom to make room for new exhaust ducting to service adjacent restaurant tenants. These new exhaust ducts will help maintain the air quality in The Market.
The second phase – January to February, 2026 – will see the women’s washroom completely renovated with new stalls and sinks in order to improve the comfort of our visitors.
While this work is underway, we ask visitors to use the other washrooms available in The Forks Market:
- 4 gender neutral washrooms (main floor, north aisle) across from Phantom Amusements
- “Art” washrooms (second floor) behind Forks Trading Co.
- Women’s washroom (second floor) north hallway near Manitobah Mukluks
- Additional washrooms in the Johnston Terminal
