As the season shifts from hot summer nights to crisp fall afternoons, The Common is introducing a new wine lineup that is sure to strike the balance.
We caught up with Ben Sigurdson, our resident wine consultant, to hear what he's most excited about.
“We have a fun Italian sparkling red, the Zucchi Marascone Lambrusco, as one of the two bubbly options. There may be doubters, but once they try it, they'll change their minds. There's also a deeper, darker, and fuller rosé from Italy's Sicily region called Regaleali Le Rose that I quite like, and that should work as well for summer as it would in fall.”
Staff Picks
“My pick is L’Ami des Crustacés by Gustave Lorentz because it would be perfect with Fergie’s Fish or sushi by Fusian and because I’m French!” - Félixe
“I like the Vista Shiraz Barbera by Longview. It's violet in appearance, dry, medium-bodied. A very juicy wine.” - Purav
