The Forks is seeking Indigenous leaders, knowledge keepers, and community members to join the Indigenous Advisory Circle.

The Circle will guide the strategic direction and provide ongoing advice to The Forks’ Board and Senior Leadership team, ensuring alignment with the goals outlined in The Forks’ Reconciliation Action Plan and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Calls to Action.

Located at the junction of the Red and Assiniboine rivers, The Forks (also known as Nestawaya in Cree) has been a meeting place for over 6,000 years – located on the original lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Lakota peoples and resides in the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.
